The future of HTS

The future of HTS

A few years ago, I founded HiddenTech Studios with several goals in mind. I was tired of seeing products for different Roblox groups being sold for much more than necessary, and I wanted to try leading a company myself. The solution was HiddenTech Studios.

The first two years of HTS were quite rocky, to say the least. I didn't have a clear plan for the company, things changed almost every month and because I didn't have a clear plan myself, I wasn't able to bring on the other managers/executives to help me. Of course we had some discussions but in the end I wanted HTS to be run in a way that I felt was good. We didn't reach that point for a long time.

A few months ago, I began planning for the future of HTS. I knew that I wouldn't be able to work every day forever on it. Starting this August, I will be a lot more busy studying until June 2026. That's a long time and HTS needs to be run without me being around every day.

So what's happening now?

Significant changes are coming this summer. Our Discord server has already been reworked and more will be changed in the coming weeks. New documentation will be created to outline procedures (within reasonable limits, as adapting to different situations is key), and existing documentation will be updated. My hope is that this work will be completed by mid-June.

HTS Utility now features a brand-new ticket system, utilizing code from some of our custom-ordered bots. Another new feature is staff profiles, which will help HTS Management and Executives keep track of all staff. All staff members can at any time see their own profile in a private message. More features will be added throughout the summer. We already have some things planned and more ideas will come up as we move forward with HTS 2.0.

Our Staff teams will be continuing as they are but under different names. The Development Team will stay as it is but the HiddenTech Team is being renamed to the Community Team. Members of the Community Team will be responsible for moderating the HTS Discord server, providing support to and engaging with the community.

Our primary development focus will continue to be custom Discord bots. You can read more about that service in a future blog post. There may be some new Roblox products created during the summer so we can have a backlog for the rest of the year, we don't know yet. As I am currently the only Developer, everything takes much more time than I ideally want it to.

In summary, the future of HTS is bright. We have many plans and ongoing projects. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me (Hidden) on Discord. I will do my best to answer them.
