Introducing Our Newly Released Website

After months of work, we finally released our brand-new website. It has everything you need to know about HiddenTech and is a great asset for us and the community.

Issues & Constant Changes

Like any other project, our website project had a lot of issues. I wanted to review some of them to show why the website took so long to finish and why the design is how it is.

To start, we don’t have any front-end developers on our team. I specialize in backend development so I had to research and learn many frontend development techniques which took a long time. I approached this project with a “learn as we go” approach and tested different methods to get the outcome I wanted.

As my knowledge of HTML and CSS isn’t the greatest, it took a while to design what I wanted. I made an initial design using Figma which over time evolved into the released design. The general design was sent to our supporters and staff team for feedback which helped me make the design as close as possible to what we wanted.

Without saying too much, we also had a lot of backend issues with our API and updating different packages throughout the development process which caused even more errors.

Thanks for sticking with us while we’ve worked on this project. Now it’s time to work on the final things before we officially launch!
